My Favourite Things - Christmas Movies

Hello Everyone:)

I am really in the Christmas mood at the moment, perhaps because my office is now decorated and we are listening to Christmas music for the majority of the day!

I thought that for my third edition of My Favourite Things series, I would share with you some of my favourite Christmas movies that I am really looking forward to watching again this year, wrapped up in a blanket and drinking hot chocolate.

I thought that with Christmas just around the corner (Yay) I would put together a list of gifts that may help you in deciding what to get for your Sister, Friend, Mother, Aunt..... pretty much any girl in your life that you will be buying a present for this year, that are all under €30. I think that all of these products would be great gifts by themselves, or if you wanted to splash out more, are a great addition to other gifts.

One Dress - Three Ways: Halloween Costumes

Hello Everybody.

With it being Halloween tomorrow I though I would share with you some easy ways that you can turn a dress that is already in your wardrobe into a Halloween Costume without a lot of effort, or cash.

A quick trip to anywhere that is selling costume will likely be selling these accessories also, such as Claires Accessories, Woodies Party Zone, Amazon etc.

American Beauty Wishlist - Autumn 2014

Whenever I read American Blogs or watch American YouTube Channels I am always green with envy with all the products/brands that are not yet available in Ireland. I rarely but beauty products online, with the exception of skincare, brushes, nail polishes etc because I like to see the colour in person and swatch it before I buy. 

So here is my American Beauty Wishlist. With no intentions of going to America in the near future I think it will be a while before I am able to get my hands on any of them any time soon :( 

My Favourite Things - TV Shows

This is my second 'My Favourite Things' post and today it will be about my favourite TV shows. These are shows that I could re-watch from start to finish again and again ( which I have done) and some new discovers that I have found. 

As some of these shows have loads of seasons, I love to go back to the beginning and watching them from the start. Its crazy how much you actually forget from the earlier seasons!

Style is such a subjective issue and I know that some people will not like what I like, and I completely understand that, that is what is so great about fashion! 

Autumn Fashion Essentials

During the Spring and Summer I love to wear bright colourful clothes and pastels but once it comes into Autumn I am always drawn back into neutral colours such as Brown, Cream, Tan and Black.

While they might not be the most exciting colours they can all be paired with the usual colours that are popular during the Autumn, the usual suspects being Ox-blood, Khaki, and Emerald Green.

During a conversation in work during the week, I realized how I really haven't traveled to that many places and countries.

Penneys / Primark Haul

I recently went to Penney's (Primark in the UK) and picked up a few accessories and bits and bobs.

I haven't really seen any nice clothes pieces in Penney's recently but have been loving their shoes and accessories. 

My Fitness Journey and Favourite Apps

I think like most girls out there I have never been completely happy with the shape of my body, but have never really did anything about it.

I suppose I should start with a background of my fitness and weight history. I am about 5.6 ft and fluctuate between a size 10 - 12 (UK).

Mini Boots Haul

Is is just me or do products seem to always run out around the same time? Well that is what happened to me... I ran out of my usually Neutrogena blackhead wash and only have one-two more showers left of my Herbal Essence shampoo.

Playlist # 1

I don't know about you but I am constantly listening to music when I am out.

Whenever I forget to grab my earphones when I leave the house I get so mad at myself, especially if I have to get the bus or the train anywhere, I find the journey so boring without music.

My Pamper/Relaxing Night Essentials

Last week was such a busy week in work that was leaving me exhausted by the time I got home I just wanted to have some dinner and curl by on the couch and watch TV marathons for the rest of the night. Hence the lack of posts last week :(.

I had to work on Sunday as one of the very prestiges cruise ships that the company I work for will be in Dublin for a turnaround (when passengers finish their cruise and disembark and passengers who are starting their cruise embark), and it will be all hands on deck, excuse the pun. So while I was feeling sorry for myself on the bus home from work last Thursday, I decided that on Saturday night I was going to have a pamper/relaxing night in, as I had to get up early to get down to Dublin Port on the Sunday. 

 I thought that I would share with you what my routine/essentials for a pamper evening are.

Fall Fashion Wishlist 2014

Happy Sunday everyone,

I know that in many countries August is still considered to be summer.... that is sadly not the case in Ireland. It is only half way through the month and already it is much cooler and winder then what it was last month. While it is still a while away before I drag out the winter coat, warmer layers are definitely a must have from now on.

Already the shops are starting to release their autumn, or fall, lines and a little bit of good old 'window aka screen shopping' has been happening. I haven't bought anything yet but it will most definitely be happening within the next few weeks as it gets even cooler here in Dublin.
