My Shower Routine

Hello people of the Internet.

Seeing as everybody (I hope) cleanses themselves through out the week, I am going to tell you about the products that I use:

Haircare

The first thing I do when I get in the shower is wash my hair with Herbal Essence Bee Strong shampoo, I usually do the lather, rinse, repeat process. This shampoo leaves my hair very soft and  and then use my Organix Argan oil of Morocco conditioner which I have been using for about 2 years now. I don't think I will ever love a conditioner as much as I love this one. I have bought sooo many bottles of this stuff and it is just amazing for your hair.

Once every two to three weeks I use a clarifying shampoo to remove any product build up that my have gathered on my roots. For this I use the Herbal Essence Fresh Balance Clarifying Shampoo, which I also use to clean my makeup brushes FYI.

Face

I leave the conditioner in my hair as I wash my face. I have been using the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Purifying Face Gel recently and I like to so far. It is great at removing makeup, including liquid eye liner and mascara. I reminds me a bit of soap the way it lathers up and the smell, even though it says on the bottle that it contains no soap, but it is a good cleanser.

Body

I wash the conditioner out of my hair then, use the Soap and Glory Clean on Me body wash, it is very moisturising which I like. I prefer the Sugar Crush Body Wash over the one I currently have because it smells amazing! I love the smell of Soap and Glory products. There are no words to describe it. If you have never smelled it the next time you are in Boots just go over and have a sniff!

Some other steps that I don't take every day are:

Ex-foliation

I then exfoliate my skin. I use the soap and glory The Scrub of your Life body scrub and I really like that it is abrasive enough to remove any dry skin but it doesn't hurt or feel like you are removing layers of skin unlike some other body exfoliators.

Shaving

When my skin is all nice and scrubbed I then shave my legs, I use the Gillette Venus Spa Breeze razor, simply because that one was on offer when I was in Boots. It has shave gel bars build into the razor blade which I like as it makes the process a little bit gentler on my legs. I prefer to shave after I ex-foliate as it gets that little bit closer to the skin.


That is what I do when in the shower. I don't wash my hair everyday usually it is every 2 days, three when I am being lazy and use dry shampoo instead.
