I don't know about you but I am constantly listening to music when I am out.
Whenever I forget to grab my earphones when I leave the house I get so mad at myself, especially if I have to get the bus or the train anywhere, I find the journey so boring without music.
I have been using the Itube App on my Iphone to listen to music on the bus to and from work.
If you are unfamiliar with the app, you basically type in the name of a song/singer/band into the search bar and the app searches YouTube for videos matching the description.
Once the song has been completely buffered onto your phone you can then create playlists and listen to the songs offline, unlike Spotify which I love!! I know you can listen to music offline when you subscribe to Spotify Premium but I don't want to have to pay a monthly charge for something that I can get for free!
I have zero free memory on my phone to add music to it and it can be a hassle to add music to my Ipod, having to download the music and then add it to Itunes and connect the Ipod! I am way to lazy to do that often, especially when only wanting to add a few songs to my collection.
The current playlist that I am listening to a lot, especially in the mornings on my way to work is my 'Chill' playlist (very original title I know) and as the name suggests it is full of relaxing and acoustic music. There are some new songs in here and some old favourites.
The songs in this playlist include
Coldplay - Magic
A Great Big World Feat Christina Aguilera - Say Something
Kodaline - All I Want
Birdy - Not About Angels
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
Coldplay - The Scientist
Ed Sheeran - Photograph
Sleeping at Last - I'm Gonna Be ( 500 Miles)
Ed Sheeran - All of the Stars
Lana Del Ray - Young and Beautiful
John Mayer - XO
Collin McLoughlin - Titanium
Skylar Grey - Love the Way you Lie
These songs are 13 of my favourite songs in the playlist at the moment. There are over 40 in the playlist which continues to grow as I discover new songs.
What are your favourite songs to listen to when you want to chill out and relax?
Are any of your favourite songs included in this list? Let me know and any suggestions to new songs/bands are welcomed.
Until next time
