What I Got For Christmas - 2015

Happy New Year.

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and New Year.

I know that it has been nearly a month since Christmas so sorry for the delay but I have been working double shifts the past couple weeks and have been exhausted by the time I finish all I want to do is get into bed! I love reading posts about what people got during the holiday period and thought that I would share with you what I got this Christmas. As I was in Australia this Christmas my parents sent over a Christmas care package with a few bits added by family friends and other relatives.

My New Year Goals

I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas and  New Year. The start of the New Year brings out everyone's "New Year, New Me" mantra where everyone will stop drinking/ become a gym bunny/ eat clean/ travel the world etc etc etc. 

I find that making resolutions that go from zero to 100 are unachievable and unrealistic! This post is mainly about the ways in which I want to gradually change my lifestyle, with goals set of where I want to be at by the end of 2016.

Today I thought I would share with you my current makeup routine. With it getting hotter and hotter here in Australia (it's still only spring!) I have definitely changed up my routine and stripped back on the amount of makeup I am applying.

With Halloween just around the corner I thought I would continue my 'Favourite Things' series with a Halloween movies edition. Now the first thing I should tell you is that this list is essentially a Halloween movie list for wimps... I am not a horror movie kind of girl, I pretty much just sit there terrified with my hands over my eyes for the entire movie and still have nightmares at the end! Which I find very strange as I spend my early teens watching movies such as The Shining, Friday the 13th and the Exorist every Halloween after trick or treating and loved them, now I can't even deal with people talking about scary movies.

Travelling the East Coast: Cairns

When my friends and I first came to Australia we stayed in Sydney for a week with our friends who had already been over here for a few months. After a fun filled week catching up with them and seeing some of Sydney we were ready to start of backpacking adventure. Our first stop on our travels was Cairns in Queensland and after a quick 3 hour flight (compared to the 24 hour flight from Dublin to Sydney) we arrived in sunny Cairns. Leaving the airport it was like something out of Jurassic Park, mountains of rainforest everywhere you look.

So it has been a while....

So I haven't posted a new post in quite a while ( 9 months if anyone hasn't been keeping track) and I cannot believe that it has been that long!!!
